Information and Communication Technology has revolutionized all the aspects of life in general and education in particular. The fast changing technology in Computer hardware and software has kept the Computer Professionals on toes to update themselves on the current trends. The Computer Centre in its endeavour to provide state-of-the art facilities in field of ICT   to the stakeholders of the university puts its best possible efforts.

The Computer Centre provides best services in terms of software development, hardware procurement, networking, Internet and training.  The mission of the Computer Centre is to act as catalyst in providing best services to the University for its   Research and development.  The Computer Centre has conducted several Computer Awareness programmes in the nearby villages. We tend to treat computer literacy with a certain degree of sensitivity and are proactive in adapting to computers as a learning resource as well as a very powerful administrative tool. We are happy to report that both the faculty and the administration quickly adapted to this change, and a result of this computer laboratories have been established in all the Science Departments, the Management Department as well as many Departments in the Humanities and Social Sciences. We followed this up by providing Internet connectivity to all the Departments with adequate connections.
