Department has a placement Cell which looks after placement activities of the students. The Department has constituted a placement cell for arranging campus interview for the placement of our students. The department will plan provided job opportunity in many prestigious organizations such we will invite that types different type / various agencies like educational field, government school and college teacher and other than Multi-National different production of different Companies (mental hospital, organizational and industrial field privet filed like Mahindra, TVS Motors, Foods technology and others conducted campus recruitment programs for arranging campus interview for the placement of our students) passing-out batch NGO’S & various industrial organizations to organize campus interview at our Department within the precent/preceptor of Sardar Patel University. We will provide infrastructure & other facilities to the agencies for conducting campus interview. This cell will monitor the placement activities of our students and we will try our level best to provide best facilities to our student for getting employment opportunity. We will also arrange mock interview so as to train our students. As to how to face the interview.
Besides, the department helps local colleges/institutions for their requirements of faculty in their institutions every year. Our students are placed in many self financed and grant-in-aid colleges of Gujarat.
The courses are modified looking at the present need of the outsourcing organizations and Industries with different type’s hospital and mental health organizations. The syllabi is regularly revised and new courses are introduced which are based on the need of the society.
Department of Psychology and M.Ed and B.Ed(MR/ID) has managed to provide campus placements through its flagship Joint Placement Programme (JPP) to not only to its own students but students from all over Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajstahna, Madyapradesh, Delhi and UP.
