The Department has achieved a high standard among the profession which received a notable attention of other Institutions. Resultantly, the Department has successfully organised CAMPUS INTERVIEW of two different organisations – viz. 1. Torrent research centre, Ahmedabad  2. Parul Institute (Now, Parul  University) which is very rare in LIS field

The Department is pleased to announce that Government of Gujarat sanctioned and realeased  Innovative grant of Rs.45 lacs to start up a new course namely –“ Post Graduate in Library Networking & Digital Technology ” which is the first advance course of this type throughout  the Nation.
