The Community Science Centre is picking up well as a hub of Science education and awareness, as can be seen from the interest and enthusiasm it generates, especially among the students. Our message is conveyed through our programme- participants and visitors to the Centre. We will continue to carry out 150+ programmes/activities as per our objectives. There are challenges before us in view of changing pattern of school education, in particular the semester system introduced, which keeps the students and teachers busy with formal education.
A class-room with Lab is proposed to be built at the top floor of our premises. The terrace will then also be used for sky watching programmes.
A Community Science Park, as an extension of our CSC, is proposed to be developed in a small plot of land in our University.
In future the CSC can expand into a Centre of Science Education & Research.
