About the P.G. Department of Law

The Post Graduate Department of Law began functioning from the academic year 2018-19 with LL.M. in Business Law, 2019-20 with Criminal Law and 201-22 with Constitutional & Legal Order. The main Objective of these post graduate programmes is to enhance the competency of lawyers and enable them to acquire the practical skills in the major areas of specializations.

All offered three post graduate programmes are Two Year programmes i.e. divided in four Semesters. This Programme aims at inculcating essential skills needed in the field of legal practice and to meet the requirements of relevant sectors like Banking, Insurance, Constitution, and Industrial Law & Intellectual Property Rights, Judicial Process, Research Education. The Programme, currently, has an intake of 60 students and is duly approved by University.
