Dr. Hemant Dave won Haridas Viththaldas Gokani Gold medal for his essay on Archaeology of Dwarka at the session of Gujarati Itihas Parishad in 2005 and Porbandar Archaeological Research Society Silver Medal in 2018 for his essay Contributions of Professor M. A. Dhaky to Indian Temple Architecture.
