Research & Activities
- Detail documentation of artifacts and ecofacts in the Museum collection with special emphasis on their cultural association. Digitization process is also being carried out.
- Field explorations and photo documentation of Archaeological as well as Historic sites are being carried out by curatorial staff.
- Preliminary and preventive conservation work is being done at the small laboratory of Museum and some laboratories of national importance through collaborative projects.
- Museum periodically organizes special activities like ‘Touch, Feel and Learn’ for physically and mentally challenged students.
- Evolves traditional as well as innovative communication strategies through exhibitions, seminars, workshops and outreach activities.
- Museum also offers “Museum Orientation Workshop” for various age groups.
