M. Phil.(History)One yearSemester system: university exam at the end of each semester. Dissertation to be submitted at/after the end of the second semesterMasterís degree in History with minimum of 40% marks; the candidate must pass the entrance test for M.Phil.
Ph.D. (History) [Full Time / Part Time] Minimum Two years for full time and
Three years for part time.
Viva-voce and Open Defence after the submission of the Thesis Master degree in History with second class; the candidate must pass the entrance test; candidates with the M.Phil. degree from this university need not appear for the entrance test
